Over the past couple of years Winona Controls has renovated much of the plumbing, heating, ventilating and controls in the elementary school.  In addition to the normal automation control the system also dials out alarms on high temperature of freezers and coolers and flushes urinals to schedules.

Winona Controls designed and installed a new boiler heating system.  The control system was also upgraded from on/off control to full modulation of each zone.  This eliminated 21 circulating pumps while increasing efficiency and building comfort.

Winona Controls was the prime mechanical contractor for the renovation of the former high school.  In addition to plumbing, heating and building automation system Winona Controls also installed a new cooling system including a 200 ton chiller.

Extensive remodeling of the plumbing to modernize fixtures with electronic flush valves and to meet handicap accessibility.  In addition Winona Controls sub-contracted the interior Geo-Thermal piping. This consisted of over 12,000 feet of pipe.  The entire project was complete during  summer school break.

Winona Controls designed and installed a high pressure steam system for Sno-Pac Foods new processing plant. The system included organic approved steam filtration system and pneumatic control of the blancher. In addition Winona Controls installed all the ventilation, heating, and air conditioning for the facility.

As a sub-contractor Winona Controls installed all high pressure piping for the installation of two 200 horse power, 250 psi design steam generators and a new DA system.  The plant was back up and running after only one week of down time.
