The new building was completed in 2016. We installed the American Auto-Matrix Building Automation system to control the complex heating and cooling system. They used a combination of Heat Pump, Boilers, and Geo Loops to provide hot water and chilled water to the building. The building uses air handlers and VAV’s to provide comfort in the offices, and in the garage/shop areas, there is a combination of infloor heat, CO/NO Sensors, and exhaust fans to provide comfort and safety.
The building automation system also monitors the generator and transfer switch through MODBUS communications wired directly to our front end without the use of an additional converter.
